SuperSport United FC has completed the signing of Ghampani Lungu from Siwelele, as the club rebuilds for the new season. Lungu, a Zambian international forward, has been in South Africa since 2018, playing initially for SuperSport United before their status was sold to the owners of Siwelele last season. He made 212 appearances for the teams, scoring 29 goals, including playing in the CAF Confederation Cup for SuperSport. Lungu joins midfielder Mthetheleli Mthiyane and centre-back Sbangani Zulu, as well as winger Bohale Ngwato, in the new signings. The signings are part of the club's rebuild for the new season, as they look to improve their performance in the Betway Premiership.
